Course Overview

The Qualifi Level 3 Integrated Diploma in Business and Management is designed to provide learners with an introduction to the principles and practices of business and management while developing the knowledge and skills required for further study and employment.

The programme covers a broad range of business areas, including business communication, the business environment, people management, customer service, finance, marketing and business operations. It also develops academic and study skills that can support learners as they progress towards higher-level education.

Eligibility

Applicants must be aged 16 or above.

Entry to the qualification is through a centre interview, and learners are normally expected to meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Hold qualifications at Level 2
  • Have work experience in a business environment and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in another discipline and wish to develop a career in business management

Applicants with considerable relevant experience but no formal qualifications may also be considered following an interview, provided they can demonstrate their ability to meet the demands of the programme.

The qualification provides a progression route for learners wishing to continue into higher-level business and management study or relevant employment. Admission to a particular university or degree programme remains subject to the admissions requirements of the receiving institution.
